SIR Workshop and Online Course Registration Policy

Overview
This policy outlines the terms and conditions for registering for workshops and courses offered by Salum International Resources, Inc. (“the organizer”). It applies to both live (in-person) and online events. By registering for any workshop or course, participants agree to comply with the terms set forth in this policy.
Registration Process
Eligibility
Participants must meet the prerequisites or qualifications specified for each workshop or course.
Registration is open to individuals aged 14 and above (for teenager and high school students’ workshops). Participants under 18 require parental or guardian consent. Paid registration in the teenager and high school students’ workshops assumes parental or guardian consent.
Registration Procedure
Participants can register online through the Salum International Resources, Inc. website through the links provided.
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
Complete the registration form with accurate and up-to-date information.
Payment must be made in full at the time of registration unless otherwise specified.
Confirmation
Upon successful registration and payment, participants will receive a confirmation email with details of the workshop or course.
For online events, a link to access the virtual classroom or online coaching platform will be provided.
Deadline
Registrations must be completed by the deadline specified for each event. Late registrations may be accepted at the discretion of the organizer, subject to availability and possible late fees.
Fees and Payment
Fee Structure
Fees for workshops and courses are listed on the event page. Fees may vary depending on the duration, content, and instructor.
Early bird discounts, group rates, and other promotional offers (if available) are specified on the event page.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made primarily via PayPal, or bank transfer with Zelle (upon request).
Late Registration
Late registrations may be accepted at the discretion of Salum International Resources, Inc., subject to availability. Additional late registration fees may apply.
Cancellations and Refunds
Participant Cancellations
Participants may cancel their registration by notifying Salum International Resources, Inc. in writing.
Refunds are processed as follows:
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event: Full refund minus a 15% processing fee.
Cancellations made 15 days before the event: 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event: No refund.
Organizer Cancellations
Salum International Resources, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops or courses due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrollment.
In case of cancellation by Salum International Resources, Inc., participants will receive a full refund, or the option to transfer to another event.
Transfer of Registration
Participants may transfer their registration to another individual with prior written approval from the organizer at least 7 days before the event.
Attendance and Participation
Live Events
Participants are expected to arrive on time and attend all sessions.
For multi-day events, attendance at all sessions is required (if applicable).
Online Events
Participants must have a reliable internet connection and the necessary technical equipment (e.g., computer, webcam, microphone).
Participants are expected to log in on time and remain engaged throughout the session.
Code of Conduct
Participants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
Disruptive behavior, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the event without a refund.
Intellectual Property
All course materials provided are the intellectual property of Salum International Resources, Inc. or the respective instructor.
Participants may not record, photograph, reproduce, distribute, or use the materials for personal or commercial purposes without explicit permission.
Privacy and Data Protection
Salum International Resources, Inc. is committed to protecting participants' privacy. Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the purpose of administering the event and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
For online events, sessions may be recorded by Salum International Resources, Inc. for quality assurance and future reference. Participants will be informed in advance.
Special Accommodations
Salum International Resources, Inc. is committed to providing an inclusive environment. Participants requiring special accommodations (e.g., disability access, dietary restrictions) should notify us at least 3 days before the event.
Organizer’s Indemnity
Liability Limitation
The organizer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the event. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or loss of data.
Third-Party Services
The organizer is not responsible for services provided by third parties, including, but not limited to, venue facilities, catering services, audiovisual equipment, parking, accommodation, and transportation.
Venue Indemnity (for Live Events)
Venue Liability
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event venue and its affiliates, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their participation in the event.
Damages
Participants are responsible for any damage caused to the event venue by their actions, whether intentional or accidental.
Dietary Restrictions (for Live Events)
Notification
Participants with dietary restrictions must inform the organizer at the time of registration or at least 3 days prior to the event.
Accommodations
The organizer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions but cannot guarantee that all dietary needs will be met.
Responsibility
Participants are responsible for managing their dietary requirements and should verify the suitability of food provided.
Online Event Policy
Technical Requirements
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary technical equipment and internet connection to attend the online event.
Conduct
Participants must maintain professional and respectful conduct during online events. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the event without a refund.
Recording
Recording of online events by participants is prohibited unless prior written consent is obtained from the organizer.
Data Protection
The organizer will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the organizer’s privacy policy.
General Terms
Force Majeure
The organizer is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions.
Changes to Events
The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, speakers, or content as necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated to participants promptly.
Governing Law
This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, USA.
Agreement to Terms
By registering for an event, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to this policy.
Arbitration of Disputes
In the unlikely event of a dispute cannot be resolved under the articles of this Registration Policy, the dispute shall be arbitrated without disclosure by the American Arbitration Association at its Charlotte, North Carolina office, with three arbitrators – one selected by the complainant, one selected by Salum International Resources, Inc., and one selected by the first two arbitrators. The parties agree that the laws and the courts of the State of North Carolina, Mecklenburg County, shall apply and have jurisdiction regarding the enforcement of any award rendered.
